Primal Fury sits in row 4 of the Druid Feral Combat tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Sharpened Claws maxed first. It can take up to 2 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

What Primal Fury does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

Rank 1: Gives you a 50% chance to gain an additional 5 Rage any time you get a critical strike while in Bear Form or Dire Bear Form. In addition, your non-periodic critical strikes from Cat Form abilities that generate Combo Points have a 50% chance to add an additional Combo Point.
Rank 2: Gives you a 100% chance to gain an additional 5 Rage any time you get a critical strike while in Bear Form or Dire Bear Form. In addition, your non-periodic critical strikes from Cat Form abilities that generate Combo Points have a 100% chance to add an additional Combo Point.

How to reach Primal Fury

Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Feral Combat rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Primal Fury, and you will need Sharpened Claws maxed first.

Is Primal Fury worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
