How to play this beta version
- Use Shred when position allows, or Claw when it does not.
- Use Rake and Rip when the enemy will live long enough; pool Energy rather than overwriting effects reflexively.
- Use Shifting Power below full Energy and preserve Mana for a needed heal or form change.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Berserk needs 31 points and is unavailable.
- Ferocious Bite is learned at 32, Ravage at 32 and Pounce at 36; none is part of the current beta priority.
This Cat version does not select Primal Bite or the Bear-oriented threat investment. Use the Bear beta allocation when the group needs a tank.
Why this beta talent split?
Leader of the Pack, Sharpened Claws and Attack Power support the sustained Cat damage. Restoration Furor is a useful form-changing alternative; Balance Genesis adds periodic damage rather than direct attacks. Choose Furor when frequent healing or control shifts justify the lost damage ranks.
Alternative beta buildFeral / Restoration form support 0/16/5Talent split
Use when frequent healing or control shifts make Furor more useful than continuous Cat damage ranks.
Adds full Furor but loses Leader of the Pack, Sharpened Claws and the selected Predatory Strikes ranks.

How to play Feral DPS
Attack from behind when possible, build combo points with Shred or another appropriate generator and maintain useful bleeds. Use damaging finishers without wasting combo points or Energy. Berserk supplies a short window of increased crit chance for cat combo-point generators. Shift for movement or utility when needed, remembering the Mana cost. Primal Bite is a bear-form attack and is not part of this cat allocation.
