Ferocity Ferocity

Druid · Feral Combat · Row 1 of 7 · 5 ranks
Changed from Classic

Ferocity sits in row 1 of the Druid Feral Combat tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 5 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.

What Ferocity does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Reduces the cost of your Maul, Mangle, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 1 Rage or Energy.
  2. Rank 2: Reduces the cost of your Maul, Mangle, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 2 Rage or Energy.
  3. Rank 3: Reduces the cost of your Maul, Mangle, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 3 Rage or Energy.
  4. Rank 4: Reduces the cost of your Maul, Mangle, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 4 Rage or Energy.
  5. Rank 5: Reduces the cost of your Maul, Mangle, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 5 Rage or Energy.

How to reach Ferocity

Row 1 opens after you spend 0 points in the earlier Feral Combat rows. Level 10 is the earliest you can pick up Ferocity.

Is Ferocity worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
