Which dungeon should you run next?
- Levels 13–23: start with Ragefire Chasm or Hall of Thanes, then move to Deadmines as your group reaches the next bracket.
- Levels 22–40: Shadowfang Keep and the Scarlet Monastery wings offer useful practice with pulls, patrols and multi-wing routes.
- Levels 35–55: Uldaman and Sunken Temple are quest-dense runs. Collect related quests before entering so the trip is worth the travel time.
- Levels 52–60: Blackrock Depths, Scholomance, Stratholme and Shaper's Terrace are the main endgame dungeon choices on this page.
Run the dungeon that matches your level, quests and group roles. A slightly lower dungeon with several quests is often more efficient than traveling across the world for a single higher-level quest.
New or Forever-specific dungeon notes
Hall of Thanes is listed in the current beta notes as a level 13–18 dungeon. Shaper's Terrace is listed as a level 58–60 dungeon. Treat both as beta content: do not promise final bosses, loot tables or exact routes until the client and official updates confirm them.
For the classic dungeons, the familiar names and themes remain useful preparation, but Forever tuning can change enemy damage, rewards, class requirements and the best route. Check the latest update notes before publishing a fixed loot or boss claim.
Dungeon preparation checklist
- Bring a level-appropriate starter build and understand your role before you queue.
- Repair, empty enough bag space and carry food and water for a full run.
- Collect dungeon quests from nearby hubs before traveling to the entrance.
- Agree on loot rules, crowd-control marks and who will lead before the first pull.
- Ask whether the group is clearing for quests, experience, a key or specific loot; it prevents mismatched expectations.
Keys, quests and entrance preparation
Some classic-style endgame routes are easier when a group prepares a key or entrance quest first. Blackrock Depths, Scholomance and Stratholme are the most important examples to check. The exact beta requirements may differ from Classic, so confirm the quest text and entrance rules in game instead of relying on an old guide.
Dungeon quests are also a major part of the leveling value. Pick them up before the run, complete them together, and turn them in as a group when possible. The questing guide can help you plan which hub to visit next.
WoW Forever raid schedule

| Molten Core | 40 players | Forever tuning mentioned; timing and details can change · Beta / tuning subject to change |
Blizzard's roadmap announces the first three new raids for 9 December 2026. Before raid day, use dungeons to learn your role, review your class changes, prepare consumables with the professions guide, and keep your build flexible while beta data changes.
Group roles and builds
A standard dungeon group has one tank, one healer and three damage dealers. Tanks and healers often shorten queue time, but a damage dealer can still make a group valuable by interrupting, controlling dangerous targets and following the objective.
Start with the class's leveling build, then adjust it for the dungeon. Do not assume a raid or PvP build is automatically the best leveling setup. Use the class guide, starter builds and compare tool together.
