How I source WoW Forever talent data
I built this page to make the calculator’s data easy to understand. You can see which beta snapshot is loaded, where the talent information comes from, what classes are covered, and how to report a mistake.

Data source and attribution
I have used talent data from talentsforever.com for the class trees, talent positions, row requirements, prerequisites, costs, and rank text shown in the calculator and reference pages.
This data is used under the CC BY 4.0 license. WoW Forever Talent is an independent fan project, not an official Blizzard tool. World of Warcraft names, icons, and artwork belong to Blizzard Entertainment.
What I’ve improved in this project
I have built the site around the way players actually plan a character: start with a class, test a few ideas, and share a build when it feels right. The main improvements include:
- All nine classes and three talent trees are available in one consistent calculator.
- The planner checks the 51-point budget, row requirements, and talent prerequisites while you build.
- Class reference pages make every talent easier to browse, check, and share.
- Starter builds, Build Compare, and My Builds make it easier to move from an idea to a usable setup.
- Share links keep a build easy to send to a friend or guildmate without requiring an account.
- Snapshot notes and update information make it clearer when beta data has changed.
Talent coverage
The current snapshot includes all nine classes and three talent trees per class. This table shows the number of talents loaded for each class, including the talents I have marked as new or changed from Classic.

Beta changes and share links
Beta data can change before launch. I update the calculator and class reference pages when a new snapshot is available. A share link stores your class, level, and talent points, but it uses the current talent data when opened, so review an older build after a major update.
The calculator checks talent points and requirements; it does not simulate damage, compare gear, or prove that one build is best. Use the starter builds as ideas, then test your choices in game.
Found a mistake?
Send me the snapshot ID, class, talent name, the value you expected, and a screenshot or clip if possible through the contact page. Those details help me separate a real data error from a normal beta change.
