Prayer of Mending sits in row 7 of the Priest Holy tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Spirit of Redemption maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Prayer of Mending does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Places a spell on the target that heals them for 172 the next time they take damage or receive non-periodic healing. When the heal occurs, Prayer of Mending jumps to a party or raid member within 20 yards. Jumps up to 5 times and lasts 30 sec after each jump. This spell can only be placed on one target at a time per caster.
How to reach Prayer of Mending
Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Holy rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Prayer of Mending, and you will need Spirit of Redemption maxed first.
Is Prayer of Mending worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 7. That is 30 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
