Troll Racials in WoW Forever
Trolls are the haste race now. The old missing-health scaling on Berserking is gone, replaced with a flat, reliable speed boost. Simple kit, honest numbers, and Beast Slaying pulls weight while leveling.
Troll Racial Abilities in WoW Forever
Berserking
Active · 3-minute cooldown
+10% attack and cast speed for 10 seconds. The old scaling with missing health is gone in the current build, so it is a flat, reliable haste button now.
Rapid Regeneration
Active · 3-minute cooldown
Restores 50% of your maximum health over 6 seconds. Strong when it goes off, but good players interrupt it or burst through it, so use it with cover.
Beast Slaying
Passive
+5% damage against Beasts. Same quiet leveling value as Dwarf's Big Game Hunter.
Troll PvE Guide: How Good Is Troll for PvE?
PvE tier: A (a strong pick on the PvE racial tier list).
Berserking is a real haste cooldown: +10% attack and cast speed for 10 seconds lines up with burn phases. It is shorter than Blood Fury's window, which is what keeps Troll in A instead of S.
Troll PvP Guide: How Good Is Troll for PvP?
PvP tier: B (a middle-of-the-pack pick on the PvP racial tier list).
Rapid Regeneration's 50% heal is strong on paper, but it gets interrupted or bursted through by good players. Berserking helps output, but Troll has no crowd-control answer, so it sits in B tier.
Troll Leveling Guide: How Fast Does Troll Level?
Leveling tier: A (a strong pick on the leveling racial tier list).
Beast Slaying gives the same +5% against Beasts that makes Dwarf fast while leveling, and Rapid Regeneration's big heal saves you from corpse runs after bad pulls.
Best Classes for Troll in WoW Forever
New in Forever: Trolls can now roll Warlock, pairing Berserking's cast speed with a caster that loves haste.
- Hunter: Attack speed plus Beast Slaying on the class that fights beasts for a living.
- Mage: Cast speed is a Mage's favorite stat, and Berserking hands over 10% of it on demand.
- Priest: Faster casts help both healing and damage, and Rapid Regeneration is a self-save.
- Warlock: New in Forever. Haste-hungry caster meets a haste racial.
- Shaman: Both attack and cast speed matter across Shaman specs, so nothing about Berserking goes to waste.
