How to play this beta version
- Apply shields where damage prevention matters and account for Weakened Soul on the recipient.
- Use Penance when you can complete a useful channel; follow with the direct heal the situation requires.
- Use Inner Focus deliberately on an eligible spell and keep Mana for the next damage event.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Power Infusion is a 31-point talent; Divine Aegis is also outside this standard beta allocation.
- Renewed Hope is not selected because the final point is spent on Penance.
The PvP variant trades some Mana-pool support for Martyrdom and Improved Inner Fire when incoming pressure contests casting.
Why this beta talent split?
Penance remains the active recovery milestone. Holy critical chance or casting support can improve other heals, while Shadow Spirit Tap needs a qualifying death. Neither early-tree dip replaces Penance on demand during a dangerous group damage event.

How to play Discipline Raid Healer
Shield allies before predictable pressure, then use direct heals or Penance according to the damage. Penance is a channel, so choose a window when you can finish its healing ticks. Coordinate Power Infusion with a caster or use it to strengthen healing during a difficult phase. Watch Weakened Soul and keep enough Mana for sustained healing.
