How to play this beta version

  1. Position for a short safe Penance channel rather than channeling in every enemy's reach.
  2. Shield important damage windows and account for Weakened Soul before relying on another shield.
  3. Use dispels and Psychic Scream to protect your team, then recover health with the appropriate heal.

What changes from the 51-point build?

  • Power Infusion and Divine Aegis are not part of the level-30 plan.
  • Penance was adjusted in October; older damage and healing impressions may not match current behavior.

For dungeon endurance with less incoming player pressure, use the Discipline group variant and its stronger Mental Strength investment.

Why this beta talent split?

Penance stays with Martyrdom and Inner Fire support. Holy casting protection is a viable alternate approach, but removes the channel milestone; Shadow Blackout depends on Shadow damage and does not supply a dependable healing response.

How to play Discipline PvP

Shield a teammate before predictable pressure and follow with direct healing when needed. Penance is channeled: its first tick is immediate, but the remaining ticks require a cast window. Use cover and control to protect the channel. Power Infusion increases spell damage and healing, so coordinate it with a teammate's pressure or your own healing needs. Track Weakened Soul before trying to reapply Power Word: Shield.
