Level-30 beta Rogue Mutilate PvP build
Level-30 Mutilate PvP · 21 / 0 / 0 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 16 October 2026.
Mutilate is reachable as the final point in a pure Assassination budget. Malice, Lethality and Cold Blood support deliberate critical pressure, while Improved Gouge offers a control window; this is the early dagger setup before Seal Fate and Venom.
Beta talent allocation: 21/0/0
Assassination: 21 points
| Talent | Rank | Effect at this rank |
|---|---|---|
| | 3/3 | Increases the duration of your Gouge ability by 1.5 sec. |
| | 5/5 | Increases your critical strike chance with all attacks and Poisons by 5%. |
| | 2/3 | Gives your finishing moves a 40% chance to add a Combo Point to your target. |
| | 5/5 | Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Sinister Strike, Gouge, Backstab, Mutilate, Ghostly Strike, and Hemorrhage abilities by 20%. |
| | 1/1 | When activated, increases the critical strike chance of your next Sinister Strike, Backstab, Ambush, Eviscerate, or Mutilate by 100%. |
| | 4/5 | Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 8%, and gives Poison applications a 40% chance to not consume a charge. |
| | 1/1 | Instantly attacks with both weapons for 75% weapon damage plus an additional 13 with each weapon. Damage increased by 20% against Poisoned targets. Awards 2 Combo Points. |
How to play this beta version
- Equip daggers in both hands for Mutilate and apply available poisons.
- Use the opener and Kidney Shot to create a damage window, then decide whether to finish or reset.
- Avoid applying fresh periodic damage immediately before a control sequence that damage would break.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Venom and Seal Fate are outside the standard level-30 budget.
- Blind and Wound Poison are not available by level 30 in the checked spellbook.
The Assassination dungeon variant replaces Gouge and Ruthlessness investment with Slice and Dice support and Murder for sustained attacks.
Why this beta talent split?
Mutilate requires 21 Assassination points. Combat builder or Dodge support and Subtlety Opportunity are useful dagger talents, but a 21-point mixed build cannot also retain Mutilate. Do not label that alternative as a working Mutilate build.

How to play Mutilate PvP
Equip two daggers and use a stealth opener suited to the opponent. Mutilate generates two combo points and benefits from a poisoned target. Keep Venom active when sustained poison pressure is useful, then choose damaging finishers or Kidney Shot according to your kill window. Save Cold Blood for a listed attack such as Mutilate or Eviscerate; it does not affect the Venom buff.

Seal Fate adds a combo point when a qualifying generator crits. Venom increases poison damage and application chance for a duration based on combo points, rather than dealing a direct finishing hit.
