Level-30 beta Shaman Restoration PvP build

Level-30 Restoration PvP healer · 0 / 0 / 21 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 13 October 2026.

Healing Focus, Water Shield and Nature's Swiftness support recovery under pressure. Full Mindfulness and two Tidal Focus ranks improve resource support; Natural Grace is omitted because its threat reduction is not a movement or PvP survival bonus.

How to play this beta version

  1. Keep Water Shield available and position so the team can receive your recovery casts.
  2. Use an appropriate direct heal, then move before an avoidable interruption forces a worse trade.
  3. Coordinate Nature's Swiftness, Purge and Earth Shock with team pressure and survival needs.

What changes from the 51-point build?

  • Riptide and Chain Heal are unavailable at level 30.
  • This PvP allocation does not include the PvE version's five Tidal Focus ranks.

The dungeon variant has full Tidal Focus instead of this version's Mindfulness investment. Keep the emergency instant cast when a teammate can take sudden damage; the Enhancement-crit alternative trades it for broader critical chance.

Why this beta talent split?

Keep Nature's Swiftness when an immediate heal decides survival. Enhancement critical chance is a useful sustained-healing alternative, while Elemental Convection affects offensive spells rather than the main healing routine. Natural Grace is threat reduction, so these PvP points go into resource support instead.

How to play Restoration PvP

Use Riptide for immediate healing while moving and to prepare a target for a stronger Chain Heal cast. Save Nature's Swiftness with Healing Wave for a sudden health drop. Refresh Water Shield as needed and place Mana Tide where your party can benefit without exposing the totem unnecessarily. Choose direct heals when the group is spread out; Chain Heal needs useful nearby targets. Use Purge when the offensive benefit justifies spending a healing global.

Why Restoration PvP takes these talents

Healing Way is maxed because Riptide requires it. Riptide combines an immediate heal with healing over time and improves Chain Heal cast directly on that target. Nature's Swiftness supplies an emergency instant Nature spell. Healing Focus reduces casting pushback, while Totemic Focus and Mana Tide support resource management. Water Shield having no cooldown does not mean its charges never need refreshing.
