What Improved Mend Pet does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Gives your Mend Pet spell a 15% chance of cleansing 1 Curse, Disease, Magic, or Poison effect from your pet each time it heals and reduces the Mana cost by 10%.
  2. Rank 2: Gives your Mend Pet spell a 50% chance of cleansing 1 Curse, Disease, Magic, or Poison effect from your pet each time it heals and reduces the Mana cost by 20%.

How to reach Improved Mend Pet

Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Beast Mastery rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Improved Mend Pet.

Is Improved Mend Pet worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
