Purifying Power sits in row 3 of the Paladin Holy tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 2 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Purifying Power does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Reduces the mana cost of your Cleanse and Purify spells by 10% and reduces the cooldown of your Exorcism and Holy Wrath spells by 17%.
  2. Rank 2: Reduces the mana cost of your Cleanse and Purify spells by 20% and reduces the cooldown of your Exorcism and Holy Wrath spells by 33%.

How to reach Purifying Power

Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Holy rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Purifying Power.

Is Purifying Power worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
