Level-30 beta Druid Balance PvP build
Level-30 Balance PvP without Moonkin Form · 21 / 0 / 0 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 13 October 2026.
Full Nature's Reach supports range and hit chance while Improved Entangling Roots increases root damage and the damage threshold before it breaks. Three Improved Starfire ranks shorten the exposed cast and add a stun chance, with one Eclipse rank supporting the Wrath-to-Starfire setup.

How to play this beta version
- Use roots and positioning to create a cast window; additional root damage tolerance is not a guarantee that the root will hold.
- Build Eclipse through Wrath and spend the charges with Starfire when a target and safe opportunity remain.
- Use periodic effects where they support pressure and preserve Mana for a heal or a form change.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Moonkin Form requires 31 points and is unavailable.
- Vengeance is not selected; Eclipse is at one rank and Improved Starfire at three.
For frequent incoming damage during casts, the Restoration-support alternative adds Nature's Focus. It sacrifices Eclipse and Starfire investment, so use terrain and control first when that preserves the faster-cast build.
Why this beta talent split?
Shorter Starfire casts and its stun chance support an exposed casting window. Restoration Nature's Focus is a useful alternative against damage-related pushback; Feral Intellect does not prevent an interrupted cast. Neither option guarantees protection from an enemy interrupt or silence.

Use when damage-related pushback is the larger problem during your casts.
Adds Nature's Focus but loses Eclipse, Improved Starfire and one Improved Entangling Roots rank.

How to play Balance PvP
Apply Moonfire and Insect Swarm where sustained damage helps, then use Wrath to prepare faster Starfire casts through Eclipse. At 3/3, Eclipse reduces the cast time of the next two Starfires by 0.5 seconds and can store charges; it is not the alternating damage-buff system from later WoW versions. Use roots and cover to create cast windows. Leave Moonkin Form when you need healing rather than relying on armor to withstand every melee attack.

Restoration (7 points)
| Talent | Rank | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| | 5/5 | Gives you a 70% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting Arcane and Nature spells. |
| | 2/5 | Gives you a 40% chance to gain 10 Rage when shapeshifting into Bear Form or Dire Bear Form. Shapeshifting into Cat Form restores 40% of the Energy you had when last in Cat Form, plus 4 Energy per sec spent outside Cat Form, up to 40 Energy. Bear Form and Dire Bear Form forfeit this Energy and halt its restoration while active. |
Why Balance PvP takes these talents
Improved Moonfire is required for Vengeance. Improved Starfire and Moonfury support damage, while Nature's Grace rewards spell crits with a shorter subsequent cast. Moonkin Form adds armor and spell crit support, but restricts spell use. Nature's Focus reduces damage-related casting disruption on eligible spells. These Restoration points do not reach Nature's Swiftness, so direct healing still requires a safe cast window.
