Druid leveling guide for WoW Forever, levels 1 to 60

Druid is the Swiss army knife of leveling: a tank, a DPS, and a healer in one character, with Travel Form at 30 ending travel pain forever. Feral leveling is fast, safe, and self-sufficient. S tier for a reason.

Best Druid leveling spec

Feral. Cat Form for damage, Bear Form when things get serious, and you never need another class's help. Balance can level but drinks like a Mage with half the payoff; Restoration is for dungeons.

Talent picks are beta-testing notes. They will be updated as new builds land.

Druid key abilities and talents

Druid weapons and gear

Druids are the least weapon-dependent melee class. Your damage comes from forms, not weapon DPS. Prioritize agility and strength on gear; do not overspend on weapons. Keep intellect gear in your bags for healing dungeons; groups will want you as a healer and you should let them.

Best professions for Druid

Enchanting + Leatherworking is the thematic pairing. You will want Idols for your relic slot, and both professions feed a Feral Druid well. Herbalism + Alchemy (herb in Travel Form, the fastest gatherer in the game) if you prefer gold. First Aid as always, though you need it less than most.

Druid leveling FAQs

Feral or Balance for leveling?

Feral. Balance works but drinks constantly and needs spell gear you will not have. Feral is faster, safer, and cheaper.

Why is Druid S tier?

Zero downtime (self-heals), Travel Form at 30, stealth skips, and the ability to tank or heal any dungeon. No weaknesses, just versatility.

Is Druid hard to play?

It has the most buttons of any class. But leveling only needs Cat, Bear, and heals. The complexity is optional until 60.
