Level-30 beta Warrior Deep Protection Tank build
Level-30 dungeon tank · 0 / 0 / 21 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 16 October 2026.
Shield Specialization and Master of Defense reward defensive events with Rage, while Defiance supports threat. The allocation keeps Last Stand and reaches Concussion Blow instead of trying to import the full Shield Slam rotation.

How to play this beta version
- Use Defensive Stance and a shield; apply Sunder Armor and spend on Revenge when available.
- Use Thunder Clap and Demoralizing Shout for multi-enemy management, then focus threat on the kill target.
- Reserve Concussion Blow and Last Stand for pressure spikes rather than spending both on every pull.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Shield Slam needs 31 points and is absent at the beta cap.
- Vanguard allows Charge in Defensive Stance; it does not itself make Charge usable in combat.
In an interrupt-heavy dungeon, redirect spare ranks toward Improved Shield Bash while keeping the 20 earlier-row points needed for Concussion Blow.
Why this beta talent split?
Concussion Blow adds a dependable stun while Last Stand, Defiance and Revenge support stay together. Arms Deflection offers parry and Fury Cruelty offers critical chance; taking five points in either removes the stun and some tanking investment.

How to play Deep Protection Tank
Equip a shield and establish threat with Shield Slam, Revenge and Sunder Armor. Vanguard allows Charge while in Defensive Stance when an engagement is safe. Use Thunder Clap for appropriate nearby targets and save enough Rage for your next threat ability. Concussion Blow helps against enemies that can be stunned; plan Shield Wall and Last Stand before dangerous damage.
