Level-30 beta Warlock Demonology Summoner build
Level-30 Demonology pet solo build · 0 / 21 / 0 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 16 October 2026.
The build reaches Soul Link while retaining a demon-focused routine through Unholy Power and Demonic Brand. Master Summoner satisfies Fel Domination, enabling a planned pet replacement; Demonic Sacrifice is a required investment, not an instruction to remove the pet that Soul Link needs.
Beta talent allocation: 0/21/0
Demonology: 21 points
| Talent | Rank | Effect at this rank |
|---|---|---|
| | 5/5 | Increases your total Stamina by 15%. |
| | 5/5 | Increases all damage done by your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Incubus, and Felhunter pets by 10%. |
| | 3/3 | Increases the effectiveness of your Voidwalker's Torment, Consume Shadows, Sacrifice, and Suffering spells by 30%. |
| | 1/1 | When activated, sacrifices your summoned Demon to enhance the opposing aspect of your power, granting you an effect that lasts 2 hrs. The effect is canceled if any Demon is summoned. Imp: Increases your Shadow damage by 15%. Voidwalker: Restores 2% of your total Mana every 4 sec. Succubus/Incubus: Increases your Fire damage by 15%. Felhunter: Restores 3% of your total Health every 4 sec. |
| | 2/2 | Reduces the casting time of your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Incubus, and Felhunter Summoning spells by 4 sec and the Mana cost by 40%. |
| | 1/1 | Your next Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Incubus, or Felhunter Summon spell has its casting time reduced by 5.5 sec and its Mana cost reduced by 50%. |
| | 3/3 | Your Searing Pain generates 50% less threat and brands the target for 10 sec. Your pet's next 6 attacks against the target deal 65 to 68 Fire or Shadow damage based on the pet. If Shadow damage is dealt, it has high threat. |
| | 1/1 | When active, 30% of all damage taken by the caster is taken by your Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Incubus, or Felhunter Demon instead. In addition, both the Demon and the master will inflict 3% more damage. Lasts as long as the Demon is active. |
How to play this beta version
- Keep a suitable demon active and use its abilities for the pull.
- Maintain Soul Link when available and monitor both your health and the demon's health.
- Use Fel Domination for a needed pet replacement rather than sacrificing the active pet simply because a prerequisite is learned.
What changes from the 51-point build?
- Demonic Pact requires 31 points and is absent.
- Spell Lock is not learned by the Felhunter until level 36, even though the demon itself can be summoned at 30.
For player control, the Demonology PvP variant reduces Voidwalker-specific investment and adds Sayaad and Aegis support.
Why this beta talent split?
Soul Link needs 21 Demonology points and a living linked demon. Affliction instant Corruption or Destruction faster casts can improve offense, but either split removes the damage-transfer spell that defines this pet-protection setup.

How to play Demonology Summoner
Let an appropriate demon establish threat, then apply damage-over-time effects and protect it with Health Funnel when needed. Soul Link depends on keeping an eligible demon active. If using Demonic Sacrifice with Demonic Pact, summon a different demon to retain the sacrifice effect; resummoning the sacrificed demon cancels it. Plan this setup before difficult pulls rather than sacrificing your tank pet mid-fight without a replacement.
