Level 60 Destruction Warlock PvP build with Conflagrate, Shadowburn and Ruin. Fire and Brimstone raises Conflagrate crit chance, while Molten Skin and Demonic Embrace add defensive support. Load the level-60 build in the calculator to adjust it for your gear and group.

Level-30 beta Warlock Destruction PvP build

Level-30 Destruction PvP · 2 / 0 / 19 · 21 standard talent points. Reviewed 13 October 2026.

Two Affliction points add Suppression while Destruction keeps Molten Skin, full Intensity, Shadowburn and Conflagrate. Improving hit reliability across the offensive toolkit is useful when a failed spell loses a short pressure window, although existing hit gear can change that tradeoff.

Molten Skin Molten Skin5/5Reduces all damage taken by 10%.
Ruin Ruin4/5Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Destruction spells by 80%.
Shadowburn Shadowburn1/1Instantly blasts the target for 65 to 73 Shadow damage. If a non-trivial target dies within 8 sec of being hit with Shadowburn, the caster gains a Soul Shard.
Intensity Intensity3/3Gives you a 70% chance to resist interruption caused by damage while casting or channeling any Destruction spell.
Conflagrate Conflagrate1/1Ignites a target that is already afflicted by your Immolate spell, dealing 88 to 110 Fire damage and consuming your Immolate effect.

How to play this beta version

  1. Create an opportunity with available control before committing to an exposed cast.
  2. Apply Immolate when the enemy cannot easily deny it, then judge when consuming it with Conflagrate is useful.
  3. Use Shadowburn deliberately and preserve health and Mana for a response if the burst does not finish the target.

What changes from the 51-point build?

  • Incinerate requires 31 points and is unavailable.
  • Bane of Havoc, Fire and Brimstone and Cataclysm are not selected.

The deeper Destruction alternative restores one Fire and Brimstone rank and Cataclysm. Prefer that Conflagrate-critical option when existing hit support makes the extra Suppression redundant.

Why this beta talent split?

Suppression supports offensive reliability across more spells than one Conflagrate critical rank. Demonology Stamina is a defensive alternative. If your existing hit support already covers the target, the deeper Destruction critical option becomes more useful.

INTENDED USE

  • Ruin 5/5 for Destruction crit damage
  • Fire and Brimstone 3/3 Conflagrate crit chance
NEXT STEP

Load the build, test it at level 60, then compare your version with the build comparison tool.

How to play Destruction PvP

Apply Immolate before Conflagrate; the current Conflagrate consumes your Immolate effect, so account for that when planning the next cast. Use Shadowburn to pressure a low-health target when its cost is justified. Create cast windows with your control and demon utility instead of trading uninterrupted casts with enemy melee. Use Bane of Havoc only when spreading damage will not interfere with your team's crowd control.

Why Destruction PvP takes these talents

Ruin increases the critical strike damage bonus of Destruction spells. Fire and Brimstone requires Conflagrate and increases that spell's crit chance. Bane shortens selected cast times, and Intensity supports casting under damage. Demonic Embrace adds health, while Unholy Power improves demon damage. This build does not select Soul Link, so its defenses differ from the Demonology PvP allocation.
