Frenzy sits in row 6 of the Hunter Beast Mastery tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Ferocity maxed first. It can take up to 5 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

What Frenzy does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Gives your pet a 20% chance to gain a 30% attack speed increase for 8 sec after dealing a critical strike.
  2. Rank 2: Gives your pet a 40% chance to gain a 30% attack speed increase for 8 sec after dealing a critical strike.
  3. Rank 3: Gives your pet a 60% chance to gain a 30% attack speed increase for 8 sec after dealing a critical strike.
  4. Rank 4: Gives your pet a 80% chance to gain a 30% attack speed increase for 8 sec after dealing a critical strike.
  5. Rank 5: Gives your pet a 100% chance to gain a 30% attack speed increase for 8 sec after dealing a critical strike.

How to reach Frenzy

Row 6 opens after you spend 25 points in the earlier Beast Mastery rows. Level 35 is the earliest you can pick up Frenzy, and you will need Ferocity maxed first.

Is Frenzy worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
