Improved Poisons
Rogue · Assassination · Row 4 of 7 · 5 ranks
Changed from Classic
Improved Poisons sits in row 4 of the Rogue Assassination tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 5 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.
Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.
What Improved Poisons does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 2%, and gives Poison applications a 10% chance to not consume a charge.
- Rank 2: Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 4%, and gives Poison applications a 20% chance to not consume a charge.
- Rank 3: Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 6%, and gives Poison applications a 30% chance to not consume a charge.
- Rank 4: Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 8%, and gives Poison applications a 40% chance to not consume a charge.
- Rank 5: Increases the chance to apply Poisons to your target by 10%, and gives Poison applications a 50% chance to not consume a charge.
How to reach Improved Poisons
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Assassination rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Improved Poisons.
Is Improved Poisons worth the points?
Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
