Premeditation sits in row 4 of the Rogue Subtlety tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.

What Premeditation does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Adds 2 Combo Points to your target. You must add to or use those combo points within 20 sec or the combo points are lost.

How to reach Premeditation

Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Subtlety rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Premeditation.

Is Premeditation worth the points?

One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 4. That is 15 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
