What each rank of Trial by Fire does
Each point buys one rank. Compare the effects below to decide how many points to spend.
- Rank 1: Increases the damage done by your Fire Nova spell by 10% and reduces its cooldown by 2 sec, and increases the duration of your Magma Totem by 10 sec.
- Rank 2: Increases the damage done by your Fire Nova spell by 20% and reduces its cooldown by 4 sec, and increases the duration of your Magma Totem by 20 sec.
How to reach it
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Elemental rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Trial by Fire.
Is Trial by Fire worth the points?
Compare the benefit of another rank with your other talent choices. Take the final rank when it supports your build. You can leave it partially ranked if you do not need the final effect or its dependent talents.
