Eye of the Storm
Shaman · Elemental · Row 4 of 7 · 3 ranks
Changed from Classic
Eye of the Storm sits in row 4 of the Shaman Elemental tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 3 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.
Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.
What Eye of the Storm does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Lava Burst by 23%.
- Rank 2: Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Lava Burst by 47%.
- Rank 3: Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Lava Burst by 70%.
How to reach Eye of the Storm
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Elemental rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Eye of the Storm.
Is Eye of the Storm worth the points?
Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
