What each rank of Water Shield does
This talent has one rank. The effect below uses the beta-client wording.
- Rank 1: The caster is surrounded by 3 globes of water. When a spell, melee, or ranged attack hits the caster or when one of the caster's spells gets a critical result, 2% of maximum mana is restored to the caster, expending one water globe. Only one globe will activate every few seconds. Lasts 10 min. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at any one time.
How to reach it
Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Restoration rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Water Shield.
Is Water Shield worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. You also need to open row 3 (that is 10 points in the rows above), so take it when the talent suits your build.
