Curse of Exhaustion
Warlock · Affliction · Row 4 of 7 · Single rank
Changed from Classic Active ability Requires Amplify Curse
Curse of Exhaustion sits in row 4 of the Warlock Affliction tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Amplify Curse maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.

What Curse of Exhaustion does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Reduces the target's movement speed by 30% for 12 sec. Only one Curse per Warlock can be active on any one target.
How to reach Curse of Exhaustion
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Affliction rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Curse of Exhaustion, and you will need Amplify Curse maxed first.
Is Curse of Exhaustion worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 4. That is 15 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
