Demonic Pact sits in row 7 of the Warlock Demonology tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Soul Link maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Demonic Pact does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Your Demonic Sacrifice effect is no longer cancelled by summoning a different Demon pet. Resummoning the sacrificed pet will still cancel the effect.

How to reach Demonic Pact

Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Demonology rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Demonic Pact, and you will need Soul Link maxed first.

Is Demonic Pact worth the points?

One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 7. That is 30 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
