What each rank of Shadowburn does

This talent has one rank. The effect below uses the beta-client wording.

Rank 1: Instantly blasts the target for 65 to 73 Shadow damage. If a non-trivial target dies within 8 sec of being hit with Shadowburn, the caster gains a Soul Shard.

Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Destruction rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Shadowburn.

One point gives you the full effect. You also need to open row 3 (that is 10 points in the rows above), so take it when the talent suits your build.
