NEW in Forever Requires Expose Prey
Lacerating Strikes sits in row 7 of the Hunter Survival tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Expose Prey maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

How to reach Lacerating Strikes
Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Survival rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Lacerating Strikes, and you will need Expose Prey maxed first.
