Arcane Power
Mage · Arcane · Row 7 of 7 · Single rank
Changed from Classic Active ability Requires Presence of Mind
Arcane Power sits in row 7 of the Mage Arcane tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Presence of Mind maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.

What Arcane Power does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: For the next 15 sec, your spells deal 30% more damage while costing 30% more mana to cast.
How to reach Arcane Power
Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Arcane rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Arcane Power, and you will need Presence of Mind maxed first.
Is Arcane Power worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 7. That is 30 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
