What each rank of Defiance does

  1. Rank 1: Increases all threat generated in Defensive stance by an additional 5% while a shield is equipped.
  2. Rank 2: Increases all threat generated in Defensive stance by an additional 10% while a shield is equipped.
  3. Rank 3: Increases all threat generated in Defensive stance by an additional 15% while a shield is equipped.

How to reach it

Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Protection rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Defiance.
