What each rank of Redoubt does

Each point buys one rank. Compare the effects below to decide how many points to spend.

  1. Rank 1: Damaging melee attacks against you have a 10% chance to increase your chance to block by 4%. Lasts 10 sec or 5 blocks.
  2. Rank 2: Damaging melee attacks against you have a 10% chance to increase your chance to block by 8%. Lasts 10 sec or 5 blocks.
  3. Rank 3: Damaging melee attacks against you have a 10% chance to increase your chance to block by 12%. Lasts 10 sec or 5 blocks.
  4. Rank 4: Damaging melee attacks against you have a 10% chance to increase your chance to block by 16%. Lasts 10 sec or 5 blocks.
  5. Rank 5: Damaging melee attacks against you have a 10% chance to increase your chance to block by 20%. Lasts 10 sec or 5 blocks.

Row 1 is open from the start. Level 10 is the earliest you can pick up Redoubt.

Compare the benefit of another rank with your other talent choices. Take the final rank when it supports your build, or when you need it maxed to open the talents below. You can leave it partially ranked if you do not need the final effect or its dependent talents.
