Rend and Tear Rend and Tear

Druid · Feral Combat · Row 6 of 7 · 5 ranks
NEW in Forever Requires Predatory Strikes

Rend and Tear sits in row 6 of the Druid Feral Combat tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Predatory Strikes maxed first. It can take up to 5 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Rend and Tear does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Increases damage done by your melee abilities on Bleeding targets by 2%.
  2. Rank 2: Increases damage done by your melee abilities on Bleeding targets by 4%.
  3. Rank 3: Increases damage done by your melee abilities on Bleeding targets by 6%.
  4. Rank 4: Increases damage done by your melee abilities on Bleeding targets by 8%.
  5. Rank 5: Increases damage done by your melee abilities on Bleeding targets by 10%.

How to reach Rend and Tear

Row 6 opens after you spend 25 points in the earlier Feral Combat rows. Level 35 is the earliest you can pick up Rend and Tear, and you will need Predatory Strikes maxed first.

Is Rend and Tear worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
